Margaret Josephs suggested “crisis PR” to Teresa Giudice amid her reported financial issues with husband Luis Ruelas. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star also addressed Teresa’s “sinking ship,” and she shaded Luis.

Earlier this year, a report surfaced that Teresa and Luis owe more than $3 million in taxes to the state of New Jersey. When asked about it in a recent video interview, Teresa hung up.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Margaret addressed how castmates are reacting to Teresa’s financial issues.

“I think everybody’s used to unfortunate things, and no one wants anything bad. Regardless of how anybody feels about her, no one wants to see a sinking ship,” she said. “I feel sorry for her, truthfully. No one wants that, and I hope she gets out of it.”

“Truthfully, it’s an unfortunate circumstance for that to happen [to] her again,” she said. “It sucks…I mean, what am I going to say? … I wish she would’ve made better choices in her partner in life, but I feel bad. I don’t want anything bad for her. I never did.”

The reporter asked if she thinks Luis has been a positive influence in her life. “Obviously not!” Margaret answered.

“I hope he helps get out of everything,” she went on. “I really don’t even think about them truthfully until someone asks me. I try not to.”

As for Teresa’s recent video interview, Margaret stated, “I would love to have taught her crisis PR because I’m really good at it … [She] should have answered [the question].”

“I think she could have handled the interview better,” she added. “I would have handled it differently.”

Margaret shared that she hasn’t been in contact with her co-star since last season’s finale.

“We ended things on a very unfortunate note,” Margaret explained. “I think our ship has sailed. Again, I don’t want anything bad for her and her family. I hope they move on happily, but I think our ship has sailed.”

Margaret also revealed that she “referred some people” to casting as the show looks for potential newbies, though she said there’s “no update.”
