Lere Olayinka, spokesperson for the Minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike, has criticized Senator Ireti Kingibe, who represents the FCT in the Senate, following her recent allegations against his boss.
In a recent Arise TV interview, Kingibe accused Wike of allocating a parcel of land in the FCT to his sons and sharply reducing land title fees from N200 million to N2 million in just 48 hours. She claims to have documents to support these allegations, labeling Wike’s actions as “unfair and unethical.”
Responding to her allegations, Olayinka posted on his X handle, contending that “responsible people” should provide any evidence they have against individuals to the public and relevant authorities, rather than making serious accusations on national television.
He wrote
‘’Responsible and serious people don’t go on National TV to say “I have evidence of corruption by Govt officials,” they display whatever evidence they have, release them to the public and forward same to relevant anti-corruption agencies.
That Accidental Senator, Ireti (alias Kingibe), who is impersonating by bearing the name of a man she is no longer married to should go back to the TV station and display the documents she claimed to have on the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike.
Like I have said, the Senate seat she got accidentally in 2023 won’t be retained in 2027, using Wike as a launchpad. The earlier she knows and accept this, the better for Madam Impersonator.”
