Trump Weighs in on Report Allies Who Helped Us Face Grave Danger of Forced Return to Afghanistan From UAE

One of the worst things that Joe Biden did during his occupation of the White House was to perform a horrible withdrawal from Afghanistan. In the process, he put our military in greater danger, and 13 service members were killed during the Abbey Gate bombing at the Kabul airport. Then, too, he left Americans and Afghan allies behind in the process, at the mercy of the Taliban, after he had promised he would get them all out. It was a truly shameful episode.

Even after all this time, those failures of Joe Biden are still being felt. A dire situation is shaping up in the United Arab Emirates, according to a new report.

The UAE agreed to provide a refugee camp to shelter some of the refugees who aided the U.S. military. There are now 32 people, including women and children, still there in the camp in Abu Dhabi. They followed the legal process and all the rules set out for them by the U.S. However, they’ve been stuck there for four years, left behind despite the promises that were made to them by the Biden team.

But now, according to Just the News, citing “first-hand accounts of some in the group,” the group’s passports have been taken, there were Taliban at the camp, and they are being forced to “self-deport.”

Their fate at this moment remains uncertain. Various U.S. officials have been reaching out to counterparts in the UAE to understand what happened and try to pause the deportations.

One family has reportedly been cleared and vetted since 2023.

But they’re still waiting.

If they get deported, they face death, for the “crime” of helping the United States.

These are people who were promised protection for helping us, who have been vetted, and have been left behind. Meanwhile, Biden left other allies behind in Afghanistan and has let anyone pour across our borders. Why would any allies work with us if we don’t honor our promises to them? Biden didn’t care about that.

Now, President Donald Trump has promised to help, to clean up another problem that Biden left behind, saying he would “try to save them, starting right now.”

Once Trump starts applying pressure, I think the UAE will back off this idea.
