While Travis Kelce was a well-known figure before he started dating Taylor Swift, her level of fame has lifted him into the stratosphere. Swift travels with bodyguards and constantly faces swarms of paparazzi and fans when she’s out in public. Kelce said that adjusting to this type of celebrity has been difficult for him.

Swift and Kelce began dating in 2023. He has become significantly more famous since their relationship began.

“The paparazzi, that’s probably the only thing I didn’t really grasp until you’re in it,” he said on the Bussin’ With the Boys podcast (per The New York Daily News). “That’s probably the craziest part, like I’m just playing golf and all of a sudden in the trees there’s a f***ing guy with a camera.”

He joked that if he has to go to the bathroom, he now needs to worry about it being caught on camera.

“Like, oh s***, I gotta go to the restroom now. I can’t just go over here and take a piss,” he said, adding that he didn’t want to see his “meat” in the tabloids. 

He said some people have criticized them for seeking out attention, but they haven’t been able to avoid it.

“[We’re] having fun with it man, being a couple,” he said. “It gets thrown out there, like we’re trying to seek attention every now and then, but it’s like we’re just enjoying life and having fun going to hockey games, kinda introducing her to some more of the sports world.”

Kelce’s football season is over and Swift’s Eras Tour has concluded. Finally, they have been able to take time for themselves.

“They have been traveling nonstop and very much enjoy it,” a source told People, adding, “They are making the most of their time off together. They are hanging out with friends, too. It’s a special time for them.”

As people who find it hard to avoid the spotlight, they greatly value their privacy.

“They value the same things,” the source said. “Right now, the focus is very much on private time out of the spotlight.”

They are reportedly thinking about marriage and children

Swift and Kelce’s relationship has grown serious, and they are reportedly looking to the future. Many have wondered if the couple will get married this year, and they have reportedly discussed children.

“Taylor would love to be a mom in the next few years,” a source told Us Weekly. “They’re very humble and family-oriented. That’s why [their relationship] works so well.”

When they do decide to have children, Swift will reportedly step back from her career to focus on motherhood.

“Taylor’s plan is to take a big chunk of time off once she’s ready to get pregnant,” the source said. “Having a good husband and a few kids is all she’s ever dreamed of and, sooner rather than later, it’s coming true.”
