Today, more than a month since 32-year-old Melbournian Zivan Radmanovic was gunned down at a villa, officers fronted the media, putting one of the recovered pistols on display in an evidence bag.

Radmanovic’s friend Sanar Ghanim was left beaten in the attack.

The gun that police allege is the murder weapon was discovered in an irrigation stream, while the other was found within 50 metres of it.

Police say both weapons have undergone ballistic testing and that the bullets and shell casings are consistent with those used in the June 13 attack.

Police have previously said they have enough evidence to bring those three men – Coskun Mevlut, Tupou Pasa Midolmore, and Darcy Francesco Jenson – to trial on charges of premeditated murder.

The maximum sentence for premeditated murder is the death penalty.

An Australian embassy lawyer has been appointed to represent the trio.
