() Parenting influencer Emilie Kiser’s 3-year-old son drowned in the family’s backyard pool while her husband was home in May. Six days later, the boy died, but his father, Brady Kiser, won’t face charges, officials said Friday.
The Chandler Police Department in Arizona announced on July 15 it had completed its investigation and recommended the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office to charge Brady Kiser with a felony child abuse charge.
“We have completed our investigation into the tragic drowning of three-year-old Trigg Kiser,” the police department’s X post said. “After a thorough review of the evidence, we have submitted the case to the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office for further review and any potential prosecutorial decisions.”
A week and a half later, the charges were dropped because there was “no reasonable likelihood of conviction,” officials said.
The father found his son in the pool unconscious, according to police records.
