Bravo has just released a preview for part three of the Real Housewives of Atlanta season 16 reunion. In it, Porsha Williams details what went wrong between her mother, Diane Williams, and Shamea Morton‘s mother. Additionally, they discuss their fractured friendship as a whole.

As fans will recall, this comes after Porsha alluded on social media to there being a preexisting issue between their mothers that began several years ago. At the time, Porsha stated that Shamea’s mother had done something egregious to her. 

The recently released video from Bravo shows Porsha and Shamea debating their issues. Regarding their mothers, Porsha said, “My mom and her mom, they were best friends. They were both in the childcare industry, and they both gave tips to each other.”

She continued, “My mom found [out] her location was going into foreclosure, and her mom went behind my mom’s back and she bought it as soon as it went into foreclosure. This is how my mom found out that her mom bought her best friend’s business – when we drove past it and they were taking down my mom’s sign and putting up her mother’s sign.”

Shamea then claimed that their mothers hadn’t been on speaking terms for years at the time that she bought the business, which Porsha said was a lie. Shamea stated that they had a falling out for a different reason, but didn’t want to address it at the reunion. She said bringing it up could cause things to really “go left” and that “the mom stuff is really deep-rooted.”

From there, they discussed how Brit Eady informed Porsha that Shamea had shared their text messages. This led Porsha to say, “We had a beautiful friendship prior to this show. Once we started filming, she took it to the left.”

Andy then looked to Shamea and asked if she would like to apologize for anything that happened during the season. She said, “I do own talking about my friendship problems with Porsha to these ladies.” In saying that, she looked at Angela Oakley, Drew Sidora, and Kelli Ferrell. This caused a bit of an argument over their comments about Shamea’s friendship with Porsha.

Later, Porsha explained how their issues also exist off-camera. She said, “There’s a friendship group that we have. A private friendship group. There are two ladies from that friendship group. She told them that I didn’t want her to be a peach holder, that I didn’t congratulate her.”

She went on, “So, our private friends are echoing the same thing that you said here.” Shamea chimmed in, “These ladies have come to me and told me that you did not want me on the show. That you wanted me as a friend to the show.” Then, Porsha said to Andy Cohen, “Andy, have I always wanted Shamea to be on the show as a housewife?” He responded and said, “Yes.”

Porsha then mentioned how Shamea has made the claim about her not congratulating her in interviews, and that their relationship is different because she has a peach. This then led to them briefly discussing the rumors from several years ago that Shamea said almost ruined her engagement. 

At the end of the preview, Andy asked Cynthia Bailey what she things Porsha and Shamea need in order to move forward. She said, “The love is there, but it just feels like the healing hasn’t happened. Then, when you come on a platform like this, everything is magnified, and if that foundation is not solid, you guys are going to crack. It just is what it is.”

The final part of the RHOA reunion airs on July 27.
