()A suspect is in custody following a police-involved shooting at a casino and resort in Reno, Nevada, on Monday.

At least two people were killed and three injured in the shooting.

Authorities say an adult male suspect is in custody and has been hospitalized.

The condition of those shot was not immediately known.

Caroline Ackerman, a spokesperson for Renown Regional Medical Center, said the hospital’s emergency department received several patients with gunshot wounds.

The shooting was reported around 7:30 a.m. and involved an officer at the Grand Sierra Resort. The Reno Police Department is asking people to stay out of the area.

The Grand Sierra is located near the Reno-Tahoe International Airport and is one of the tallest buildings in the city, holding nearly 2,000 hotel rooms.

This is a developing story. Check back for more details.
