Khloé Kardashian’s younger son, Tatum Thompson, is a joyful and soulful presence in her life. Born via surrogate in July 2022, he’s become a favorite feature of Kardashian’s social media updates, though she shares his images thoughtfully and selectively. His playful personality is already shining through. Last year, he learned to call Khloé’s hairstylist “guncle,” a sweet mashup of “gay uncle,” and the nickname stuck, delighting fans and family. On July 28, 2025, Kardashian posted photos of Tatum’s adorable, Disney-themed birthday bash. Here’s what to know about the party.

Khloé Kardashian doesn’t skimp on her kids’ birthdays, and she went all out to celebrate her son turning 3. Tatum Thompson received a Disney-themed party, complete with mascots, cakes, and vendors. Kardashian had the party in combination with Amari Thompson, Tristan Thompson’s younger brother, who lives with epilepsy.
The first video Kardashian posted to her Instagram Stories showed pastel blue, yellow, pink, and green balloons surrounding a large sign stating, “Tatum’s Clubhouse” — a play on the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse animated series. Of course, Kardashian’s daughter, True Thompson, was also there for the party. Another photo shows True standing with a famous Disney chipmunk outside of the party.
Further videos show Tatum dancing and posing with Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Daisy Duck. And, of course, the decorations are on point. The pastel color scheme continues throughout the party and outdoors to the pool. Kardashian also recorded evidence of the catering she bought from Chef Natalie Pukasemvarangkoon of Paleo Collective. The food table featured fun finger foods, like burgers and fries, as well as a cheese plate, fruit, popcorn, corn, salad, and many other adorable Disney-themed snacks.
Tatum’s cake surely didn’t disappoint. The multi-tier cake included a black Mickey Mouse head with “Tatum” written in gold in the classic Disney font. Mickey, Minnie, the Chipmunks, Donald Duck, Goofy, and Pluto were all depicted on the cake. Kardashian then showed the dessert table from Cake Gourmet Sugar Service. The Los Angeles-based baking company created themed cupcakes, cookies, and other confections for Tatum’s big day.
As Kardashian moved outdoors, her videos showed “Tatum’s candy bar,” where guests could take candy from whimsical shelves. Additionally, she had tables set up for arts and crafts from Little Artist Party, which included customizing hats and Mickey Mouse ears.
Tatum’s birthday party included accessories from Stoney Clover Lane
As Khloé Kardashian took photos and videos of her favorite aspects of Tatum’s third birthday party, she made sure to comment on Stoney Clover Lane’s customizable accessories. Kardashian had the company set up a booth with personalized mini bags, purses, and Disney-themed patches. And, of course, all of the merchandise that Stoney Clover Lane brought fit the pastel color scheme of the party.
“OK, one of my favorite things is Stoney Clover Lane,” Kardashian explained. “And look at how cute! Oh my gosh, I haven’t even seen this yet. Look at how cute everything is! Wait, I need one, guys,” she continued as she panned across their merchandise.
“They always come with the best patches, the cutest stuff … always on theme,” she continued while plugging the company’s website.
Did Tristan Thompson spend time with Khloé Kardashian at the birthday party?
It’s unclear if Tristan Thompson made it to Tatum and Amari’s birthday. According to his Instagram, it doesn’t look like he was in town to celebrate either his brother or his son. If Tristan was around, there’s no doubt Kardashian would invite him. Kardashian noted that she and Tristan spend time together with the kids as part of their successful co-parenting plan, as she wants them to retain a relationship with him.
“Tristan knows that I don’t play about the kids,” she said on her podcast, Khloé in Wonder Land. “And he doesn’t play about the kids. … And we both just really respect one another when it comes to the children.”
