Rachael Leigh Cook and Brandon Routh are sparking dating rumors.

The pair were spotted holding hands in Los Angeles on Friday, July 25, per photos obtained by the Daily Mail. Cook and Routh, both 45, were seen stopping by a movie theater for a screening.

The twosome kept it casual for the outing, with the Superman Returns star sporting a black button-up shirt and black pants and Cook donning jeans and a cropped blazer.

Us Weekly reached out to Cook and Routh’s reps for comment.

The She’s All That star and Routh were first spotted together in February when they were photographed at restaurant HomeGrown in Des Moines, Iowa.

“It’s a bird… it’s a plane… it’s Brandon Routh!” the establishment wrote via Instagram at the time. “Superman and Des Moines’ own Brandon Routh stopped by Crescent to fuel up before fighting for truth and justice… with kindness, of course. Also visiting us today, the one and only Rachel Leigh Cook. From Hollywood to Hallmark, She’s All That in our book, and what a treat it was to welcome her to DSM today.”

The restaurant shared a photo of Cook and Routh with two employees and an image of a signed Superman poster.

“Thanks for the great food! Much love!” the writing read, which was signed by Routh.

Both Cook and Routh have starred in several Hallmark movies over the years, with Cook most recently set to appear in The Christmas Affair alongside She’s All That costar Freddie Prinze Jr. Routh, for his part, appeared in the Nine Lives of Christmas and the Nine Kittens of Christmas.

Cook split from husband Daniel Gillies in 2019 after nearly 15 years of marriage. The exes share children Charlotte and Theodore. (Cook later dated producer Kevin Mann.) While reflecting on her coparenting dynamic with Gillies, Cook explained that the twosome still share Halloween.

“We go out walking around together and my kids like my boyfriend [Mann] a lot and we’re slowly just navigating what that looks like and it’s tough,” she exclusively told Us in October 2022. “It’s tough and it’s certainly relatable to so many families out there.”

Routh, for his part, tied the knot with Dexter alum Courtney Ford in 2007. The pair welcomed son Leo in 2013. Us confirmed in January that Ford filed for divorce from Routh after 17 years of marriage.

“To everyone who has loved and supported us, we have some personal news to share. After 21 years together and 17 years of marriage, we have decided to begin a new journey and enter this next chapter as friends and coparents,” the twosome wrote in an Instagram statement at the time.

The message continued, “We are now and forever rooting for each other as we move through this wild adventure called life. Our son is, and will always be, our highest priority and we appreciate your understanding of this transition.”
