FOUR people have been found dead inside a home just hours after a baby was abandoned on a stranger’s yard in life-threatening heat.

Tennessee investigators linked the two mysterious cases after identifying the seven-month-old, and are looking to speak to three people.

On Tuesday, a resident in Dyer County, outside Memphis, reported finding a baby in a car seat in their yard by the highway near their home.

Dyer County Sheriff Jeff Box said that someone driving a dark-colored minivan or white midsize SUV dropped off the infant.

Despite being abandoned in searing 100-degree heat, the baby wasn’t hurt and was identified with the help of community members.

After saving the seven-month-old, Box said that they wanted to speak with Cortney Rose, Matthew Wilson, and Adrianna Williams.

Later on Tuesday, cops said they discovered the bodies of four people, but they didn’t reveal where they were found.

Investigators also haven’t released their identities as they’re still getting in touch with next of kin.

It’s unclear if the victims are associated with the people whom authorities wanted to speak with.

Following the tragic discovery, Box said, “This is a deeply saddening day for our community.

“We are committed to uncovering the truth and ensuring justice is served.”

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the FBI have been called to help local police.

Neighbors living in the small community of Tigrett said they were stunned to hear of the abandoned child, NBC affiliate WMC reported.

“It just breaks my heart,” one woman told the outlet.

“Especially sitting out here in this heat.”

Patty Thompson, another resident, said the heat index had shot to 113 degrees by the late afternoon when the baby was dropped off.

“So it was hot,” she said.

The Dyer County Sheriff’s Office said it was “dedicated to resolving both the abandoned infant case and the ongoing investigation at the crime scene.

“We will continue to update the public as more information becomes available.

“Please remember everyone in your prayers.”

Anyone with tips is being urged to call the sheriff’s office at 731-285-2802.
