It happened in the area of Atlantic Boulevard and St. Johns Bluff Road. Officers say one driver was injured, and a second car involved fled the scene.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office launched an investigation Saturday afternoon after a suspected road rage incident left one driver hurt.
At around 3:00 p.m., officers responded to two cars shooting at one another in the area of Atlantic Boulevard and St. Johns Bluff Road. After arriving, JSO said officers found one car disabled and on the curb.
A man in his 20s who had been driving the car was taken to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. According to JSO, a gray sedan that was also involved fled the scene.
Detectives were reportedly canvassing the area and speaking to witnesses Saturday evening.
