TikTok Star Alluringskull shared before-and-after videos of her cosmetic tongue-splitting procedure.

Alluringskull, 32, moved forward with the body modification — which split her tongue down the middle like a serpent — in late July and has since offered fans updates on her recovery. The influencer explained in one video that she “wanted this procedure done for 20 years,” after she first discovered tongue-splitting at “about 12 [years old].”

“[The recovery is] probably more gruesome than the procedure itself, but, in my mind, it’s absolutely worth it,” she said in a July 29 update.

Alluringskull mentioned in her initial post-op “Day 2” vlog that she was at a “2 out of 10 pain wise” and had “managed to sleep five hours,” which was she said was “more than most people” who have the procedure.

Her followers got to check in each day to see how Alluringskull’s tongue was healing, as she frequently showed off a clear split in the appendage, with sutures placed where the two two-halves were still connected. Alluringskull peppered her vlogs with tips on the easiest ways to bounce back from a major cosmetic surgery.

“Your body cannot heal quickly if you are not hydrated,” Alluringskull narrated over footage of her getting a hydration IV in one vlog.

Her viewers also learned about the practical complications that can come with healing from such an intensive body modification.

“Part of the healing of split tongue is really gooey saliva,” Alluringskull shared. “That normally lasts a few days, but I woke up today, on day two, and it was nowhere near as gooey as day one.”

Two days later, on July 31, Alluringskull assured fans she was truly healing much faster than she ever expected.

“A lot of people that get tongue splits have really bad experiences,” she pointed out. “They’re super painful, they can’t sleep. The first three days are awful … but if you’ve watched any of this series, you’ve probably noticed it’s been the exact opposite [for me].”

Alluringskull continued, “My body heals very well due to, one, genetics, and two, strictly following my artist’s aftercare recommendation.”

While Alluringskull’s speech was noticeably strained at the beginning of her recovery, viewers noticed that there were improvements each day.

“Guess who got her ‘Rs’ back today,” Alluringskull joked in an August 2 vlog.

When a viewer pointed out that the vlogger was already “sounding better,” Alluringskull assured them: “It’s wild how quickly the mouth heals.”

By day four, Alluringskull was feeling good enough to run some errands and even ended up at an influencer event for the upcoming action movie, Nobody 2. “This is how you know my f***ing healing is going so well,” Alluringskull declared. “Not only can I eat soft food but, bitch, I ate chicken tenders! … Just know she’s good!”
