Jelena Dokic is clearly enjoying a new lease on life. 

The former Australian tennis champion, who recently went public with her new romance, was looking fit and fabulous at the Logies on Sunday night. 

The 42-year-old showed off her trimmed-down figure after a recent weight loss, as well as her very youthful visage, as she walked the red carpet at The Star in Sydney.

Jelena opted for a glittering silver gown, the slinky design skimming her trimmed-down curves. 

The strapless number included intricate, dangling beading, as well as a ruched portion at the hip. 

The glistening, metallic fabric was gathered at the waist and flowed down into a short train, with a pair of pointed, silver heels peeking out underneath.

For makeup, Jelena chose a warm, bronzed palette with a deep plum lipstick for a bit of boldness. 

She slicked her hair off her face and kept her accessories light, adding a pair of diamond earrings. 

Jelena’s recent fitness journey was beautifully showcased in the dress, which ensured her toned and muscular arms were on display.  

The tennis ace appeared to go solo to the event, with no sign of her new man. 

Earlier this month, the former athlete went Instagram official with her new boyfriend, Yane Veselinov.

The sports commentator shared a loved-up photo of herself and Yane to social media alongside a sweet caption.

Jelena gushed over her man, writing: ‘You are my calm, safe, peaceful and happy place. So glad I found you.’

Little is known about Yane, who is a hospitality operations manager, but his Instagram bio describes him as a ‘food and wine enthusiast, pleasure seeker and life enjoyer.’

The couple were first spotted cuddling up at Melbourne Airport back in May.

Jelena was seen exiting her flight and grinning broadly as she accepted a warm embrace from her bearded man as she entered the terminal.

Late last year, Jelena revealed she has been ‘closed off’ to finding love ever since she split from her long-time Brazilian boyfriend, Tin Bikic.

The couple were together for almost 19 years before announcing they had ended their relationship in 2021.

Jelena was left ‘shattered’ in the aftermath of her split, revealing last year how heartbroken she was. 

Despite saying that her walls have been up ever since, Jelena took to Instagram to make the heartbreaking admission that she’s ‘scared of being alone’ for the rest of her life.

Jelena went on to say that she was ‘built’ to love one person ‘unconditionally and so fully that it gets me in trouble’.
