Katy Perry didn’t miss a beat when a young fan fainted onstage during her “Lifetimes” show in Detroit, Mich., Sunday night.

The singer brought a group of concert attendees onstage over the weekend to help her perform “The One That Got Away.”

As the Grammy nominee handed out shaker instruments to the concertgoers, she noticed one, named McKenna, appeared to be struggling.

“Let’s practice,” Perry, 40, said into her microphone. “You’ve got this. Let’s breathe. You’ve got it. Ready?”

McKenna abruptly collapsed, with Perry immediately kneeling at her side as the Little Caesars Arena’s medical staff rushed to help.

A fan shared the clip on X, praising, “I’ve never witnessed any artist manage a situation as well as Katy Perry did tonight. She paused the show and remained with the fan even after medics arrived. Truly an angel!”

A second social media user provided another angle of the frightening moment, noting that Perry stayed with McKenna “until she was okay.”

The songwriter was filmed giving McKenna water and even helped crew members load her onto a stretcher.

After the fan exited the stage, Perry led the remaining members of the group in a prayer.

“Dear God, we pray for McKenna, that she will come back fully and brighter and better than ever,” the pop star said. “Amen.”

Later that evening, she spoke to The Independent about how “overwhelming” the experience can be.

“Sometimes you’re so brave and you can get on stage, and … it’s so much,” Perry explained. “I understand that feeling.”

The performer kicked off her “Lifetimes” tour in April, with her and ex-fiancé Orlando Bloom‘s split news breaking shortly after.

Perry has since been seen grabbing dinner with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

On Friday, Bloom, who has a 4-year-old daughter named Daisy with the singer, seemed to poke fun at Perry’s possible new fling by applauding a humorous post about him being “seen at dinner with [German Chancellor] Angela Merkel.”
