Montana authorities are still searching for a man who allegedly shot and killed four people at a bar on Friday.

According to the Billings Gazette, authorities have not ruled out the possibility that Michael Paul Brown, 45, killed himself in the mountains west of Anaconda, where he reportedly shot four people.

Paul is believed to have entered the Owl Bar and killed Daniel Baillie, 59, Nancy Kelley, 64, David Leach, 70, and Tony Palm, 74.

Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen said 250 officers are searching on the ground for Brown — who is still considered armed and dangerous.

Knudsen also said a rifle was used in Friday’s shooting, but he did not provide specifics.

Brown reportedly fled the scene in a stolen Ford F-150 pickup, which contained camping gear and clothing. While the truck was found on Friday, Brown remains at large.

“At this point, we have a reason to believe the suspect is fully clothed, shoes on his feet, and able to get around,” Knudsen said, according to the Billings Gazette.

Officials stated that Brown lived next door to the bar and was likely a frequent customer. However, a motive remains unclear.

A $7,500 reward is being offered for information leading to Brown’s capture or arrest.
