Wolverhampton Wanderers have revealed their new home shirt for the 2025/26 season – and it comes with a unique twist.

The SUDU-manufactured kit stays true to Wolves’ tradition, retaining the iconic old gold base, paired with a bold black V-neck collar and black trim on the sleeves – a clear nod to the club’s classic strips.

Look closer, though, and you’ll spot something different. The shirt’s front features a subtle debossed print, highlighting the symmetry and detail of the historic Molineux Pleasure Grounds – a public park once known for its ornamental terraces, exhibitions, concerts, and even balloon ascents.

With its almost Aztec-style pattern, the design adds a fresh, modern layer to a timeless Wolves look.

“It’s a modern day take on a classic Wolves shirt,” club historian Peter Crump said. “It’s traditional from the 1970s era – almost a modern twist on the three wolf head shirt from the 1974 League Cup.

“The ‘70s is a well revered era at Wolves, so lots of the fans remember it with great fondness. We’ve got a great history, and we should celebrate it, and there’s no reason why the modern day and history can’t be combined,” he added.

The professional edition of the shirt, worn by the Wolves first team and academy, includes strategic mesh side panels for better airflow, along with lightweight, sweat-wicking fabric to boost performance on the pitch.

The 2025/26 home kit is available now via Wolves’ official online store, club shop and selected retailers.
