Denise Richards is headed for a bitter divorce battle,and fans might just hear all about it on ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’
Denise Richards and Aaron Phypers’ divorce is getting ugly, and it looks like reality TV fans will be getting a front row seat to some of it. Richards was spotted in California, filming with the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and it looks like she’ll be spilling the tea on her split. This is big news for Bravo fans, since Richards left the series as a main cast member after season 10, and didn’t return in season 14 as a guest, despite being a guest the season prior.

Denise Richards’ marriage might be over, but it turns out her reality TV career isn’t. Richards hadn’t appeared on the most recent season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills; she was busy filming her own, limited-run series. Now, though, she slipped seamlessly back into filming. Richards was spotted dining with other cast members on August 2, and the cameras were on hand.
Richards dined with Erika Jayne and Sutton Stracke at Madre, according to TMZ. Insiders claim that Richards will be dishing about her divorce on the upcoming season, although it’s unclear just how large a role she’ll actually have. Madre is an authentic Mexican eatery with multiple locations. Richards, Stracke, and Jayne were seen in the Los Angeles location.
It’s unclear if Richards’ appearance was planned prior to the divorce news, or if Bravo executives are trying to capitalize on the bitter battle that is currently brewing. If it’s the former, the timing is fortuitous. If it’s the latter, we expect things to get even messier.
When did Aaron Phypers file for divorce?
Aaron Phypers officially filed for divorce from Denise Richards on July 7, 2025. He cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split, and specified their date of separation as July 4, 2025. The estranged couple reportedly had a massive fight over the holiday weekend. Several days later, Richards requested a temporary restraining order. In her filing, she accused Phypers of repeated physical abuse. She included photos of a black eye she said she received from her then-husband.
Phypers has denied all abuse allegations. He claims that Richards is trying to distract from her alleged infidelity and substance abuse. In an open letter to family, Phypers claims Richards had a months-long affair with Rudy Reyes. Just days after filming with her co-stars, police were once again involved in her troubled relationship when Richards showed up at a Calabasas property to retrieve her goods. While no crime occurred, according to People, it’s clear the divorce won’t go through quietly
