Brooke Hogan has claimed she told her late father not to marry his wife Sky because of his concerns about her links to Scientology.

Hogan’s daughter spoke to Bubba the Love Sponge on Twitch – an old friend of her father’s who Brooke has known since she was a child. In an emotional interview where Brooke fought tears at the beginning about her tense relationship with her dad, she was asked about her relationship with Sky and Scientology.

“That’s a loaded question,” Brooke said. “He told me he’s never getting married again. She’s (Sky) nice, and she’s cool (at the beginning), and, you know, I don’t really want to go into too much detail about our conversations, but he was saying, you know, ‘She’s pushing the marriage thing real hard.'”

‘And I said, “Well, Dad, you don’t have to do what you don’t have to do, you know.” Blame it on me.’

She claims that her father was fearful about ending things with Sky, alleging that he said: “Well, if I broke up with her, it’d be really bad.” And I said, “What do you mean?” And he goes, “I don’t want to get into it,” you know, whatever. That was the first thing where I was like “what the hell? Why would he say that?”

It was then that Brooke learned about Sky’s links to Scientology. She continued: ‘Somebody brought it to our attention that she was a Scientologist. She said she was a Scientologist but she said she left. I started digging a little bit deeper. I don’t know much about Scientology at all so, I’m just telling you what my digging did. She’s still in good standings.’

Brooke claims she asked her dad about Sky’s scientology links, to which he apparently answered: ‘When I brought that up to my dad, he goes, ‘Oh, well, she just doesn’t want to leave [the Church of Scientology] because she still wants her kids to be able to see the grandparents and they are the highest level, like OT eight, I believe.’

OT eight is considered as the highest level of Scientology.  

Sky has been linked to Scientology throughout her life – and Hulk was pictured in public with people such as Tom Cruise, one of the most high-profile Scientologists, during his realtionship with her.

Brooke didn’t specify when she exactly had that conversation with her father, who eventually married Sky in September 2023 – two months after announcing their engagement.

Brooke said she took herself out of her father’s will and hinted in the interview that Sky’s possible Scientology links contributed to her making that decision.

Later in the hour-long interview, she said: ‘I said to take me off everything, I didn’t want to be a part of this. I was sobbing when I sent the message to Terry McCoy, the guy who manages his money.

‘If Sky is a Scientologist, which apparently she is still in good standings, she said she left, it is not for me to judge. She was always nice to me, I have no problem with Sky. But if she was a Scientologist, I know that’s a very powerful backing.

‘I don’t want to fight Linda (her mother), I don’t want to fight Scientology. I don’t want somebody I love to get knocked off. I don’t know how deep this stuff goes. It scared me, I just said I want out. It was never about money.

His daughter Brooke revealed that she took a ‘step back’ from the WWE icon in his final years 

‘I just know that the people around him are pretty shady and not in his best interests. Everybody is there for a paycheck.’

In December 2023, Hulk revealed that he had been baptized. Sharing a video on Instagram of the couple being dunked underwater, the WWE hero wrote: ‘Total surrender and dedication to Jesus is the greatest day of my life. No worries, no hate, no judgment… only love!’

A memorial is being held for the WWE icon on Tuesday in Clearwater, the city in Florida where Hogan was living at the time of his death from a cardiac arrest.

Last week, Brooke spoke out about the feud with her father and his passing in a six-page statement she shared on social media.

‘My dad’s blood runs through my veins. His eyes shine through my children. And our bond has never broken, not even in his final moments,’ she said.

‘We had a connection deeper than words, one that spanned lifetimes. I am so grateful I knew the real version of him. Not just the one the world viewed through a carefully curated lens.

‘We shared a quiet, sacred bond, one that could be seen and felt by anyone who witnessed us together. When he left this earth, it felt like part of my spirit left with him. I felt it before the news even reached us.’

Reports back in April claimed that Brooke’s husband, the ex-NHL player Steven Oleksy, had made several failed attempts to ‘foster peace’ with the wrestling legend. 

Brooke had twins in January but Hogan never met his grandchildren before his death.
