'Extremely lucky' gambler hits 389 jackpots in 1 day at Tampa casino, winning $1.8M

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — An “extremely lucky” gambler hit 389 jackpots in one day at a Tampa casino, winning more than $1.8 million.

The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa announced Tuesday that Maher O. saw big wins throughout the day on several popular slot machines.

He hit $170,678.18 on Lock It Link, $99,350 on Panda Magic Dragon Link, over $258,000 on Golden Century Dragon Link and $115,000 and $143,000 on other machines.

“This lucky streak is one of the most impressive one-day runs in the property’s history,” the casino said in a news release.
