Brooke Hogan is opening up about her complicated relationship with dad Hulk Hogan and his wife, Sky Daily.

“Somebody brought it to our attention that she was a Scientologist. She said she was a Scientologist but she said she left,” Brooke, 37, shared on the Tuesday, August 5, episode of the “Bubba the Love Sponge” podcast. “I started digging a little bit deeper. I don’t really know much about Scientology at all so, I’m just telling you what my digging did. She’s still in good standing.”

Brooke claims that she had a conversation with her dad and brought up Daily’s possible connection to the Church of Scientology.

“He goes, ‘Oh, well, she just doesn’t want to leave because she still wants her kids to be able to see the grandparents and they are the highest level, like OT eight, I believe,’” Brooke recalled.

According to the church’s website, Scientology is a religion “that offers a precise path leading to a complete and certain understanding of one’s true spiritual nature and one’s relationship to self, family, groups, Mankind, all life forms, the material universe, the spiritual universe and the Supreme Being.”

Developed by L. Ron Hubbard, Scientology’s main goal is “true spiritual enlightenment and freedom for all.”

Brooke said she reached out to former Scientologist and outspoken critic Mike Rinder before his death in January for more information on the religion.

Ultimately, Brooke said she had hesitations about her father marrying Daily, 46.

“I was kind of really going to bat for my dad and saying, ‘Hey, you need to be careful. If you want to date her, cool. Just don’t get married. You don’t have to,’” she said.

In October 2023, Hulk married Daily during a small ceremony in Clearwater, Florida. Brooke did not attend the ceremony and said she has been out of her dad’s life for two years. (She also wrote herself out of Hulk’s will before his death.)

“If Sky is a Scientologist, which apparently she is still in good standing — she said she left — it is not for me to judge,” Brooke said in her latest interview. “She was always nice to me, I have no problem with Sky. But if she was a Scientologist, I know that’s a very powerful backing.”

Hulk passed away on July 24 in Florida at the age of 71. He died from acute myocardial infarction, most commonly known as a heart attack, according to documents obtained by Us Weekly.

After his death, Daily — who got baptized with Hulk in December 2023  — expressed her sadness over the WWE wrestler’s passing.

“He had been dealing with some health issues, but I truly believed we would overcome them. I had so much faith in his strength. I thought we still had more time,” she wrote via Instagram on July 25. “He was a believer in Christ, and I take comfort knowing his soul is at peace and he’s been welcomed home.”
