Chock Chapple is spending time with his son, while Joan Vassos visits Europe with a Bachelor Nation alum. She says the relationship is doing just fine.
Joan Vassos and Chock Chapple might have gotten engaged after only knowing each other for a month, but since leaving The Golden Bachelorette, they’ve taken things pretty slow. Since the end of filming last year, they’ve remained a long-distance couple, took their time finding a New York love nest, and they are even traveling separately this summer. That doesn’t mean there is trouble in paradise, though. Vasso explained why she and her man are spending some time apart right now.
Joan Vassos and Chock Chapple are on separate vacations
The Golden Bachelor and The Golden Bachelorette fans don’t have much hope in what is to come next. Mel Owens, the next golden bachelor, is controversial at best, and Gerry Turner’s golden marriage ended in divorce in just three months. Chock Chapple and Joan Vassos’ love story just has to work out for fans. So far, things appear to be going well, even if the golden couple is traveling independently from one another at the moment.
Joan Vassos has been sharing her European travels on Instagram. While the Maryland native is enjoying taking in the sights, Chock Chapple isn’t a sight she or her followers will be seeing. Vassos took to Instagram to inform fans that Chock was not with her on vacation. He was busy on his own trip with his son. Vassos explained Chapple had taken his boy on a graduation trip, while she enjoyed some quality time with a golden pal.
Where are they traveling?
Joan Vassos and Chock Chappel are traveling separately, but there are members of the Golden Bachelor Nation involved. Vasoss is currently on a Mediterranean cruise with Nancy Hulkower. Nancy appeared in season 1 of The Golden Bachelor alongside Vassos. Neither found love with Gerry Turner. Neither gave up on Bachelor Nation after one show. Vassos headlined season 1 of The Golden Bachelorette while Hulkower just appeared on Bachelor in Paradise.
While Joan said Chock is currently on a trip with his son, he did spend some time with the men of the bachelor mansion. Chock shared a photo from Las Vegas that featured several of the men who also vied for Joan’s heart last week. While Joan wasn’t on hand for the event, she was apparently in Chock’s thoughts. He noted that she would have loved a spot that the group visited. He hasn’t shared any snapshots from his father-and-son trip, but the 20-something does seem to prefer a bit of privacy. His social media feeds are private.
When were Joan Vassos and Chock Chapple last together?
Despite Joan Vassos’ Instagram explanation making sense, The Golden Bachelorette fans remain concerned about the couple’s lack of connection. Several fans point out that they haven’t been in the same place in weeks, and even when they are, they appear to be surrounded by other people. In short, they don’t appear to be getting any solo time together.
Vassos, who is a regular Instagram uploader, last shared a photo with Chapple on July 20. In a photo dump, Chapple was featured in a photo with Vassos’ mother and aunt in New York City, as well as in a group shot on what appeared to be a windy day. Chapple uses the social media platform much more sparingly, which means there are few clues to be found there. Still, his daughter is active on Instagram. While Vassos hasn’t posted a recent photo with Chapple, fans probably don’t have a reason to be too concerned. Chapple’s daughter commented on Vassos’ cruise upload.
