Y: Marshals has found its next star in Logan Marshall-Green.

As reported by Variety, the actor will be appearing in the CBS Yellowstone spin-off as Pete Calvin, a military buddy of Kayce Dutton (played by Luke Grimes). This series was introduced with the network’s 2025-2026 primetime schedule in May and is set to premiere midseason on Sunday nights from 9-10 p.m. ET. The show, created by Yellowstone‘s Taylor Sheridan, is described as follows:

“Leaving Yellowstone Ranch behind, Dutton becomes part of a select group of U.S. Marshals, utilizing his cowboy and Navy SEAL skills to deliver range justice in Montana. He and his team must juggle family, duty, and the significant psychological toll that comes from being the region’s final barrier against violence.”

DECIDER reached out to CBS for more information, but did not hear back by time of publication.

Marshall-Green is featured in the third and concluding season of And Just Like That…, portraying Adam, Carrie Bradshaw’s (Sarah Jessica Parker) gardener who develops a romance with Seema Patel (Sarita Choudhury). His recent works also include Big Sky, The Listener (2022), and Netflix’s Carry-On (2024).

While the flagship series ended in December 2024, Sheridan has other series set in the Yellowstone universe that are in the works, including The Madison — which is slated for an early 2026 release — and a spin-off surrounding Kelly Reilly‘s Beth Dutton and Cole Hauser‘s Rip Wheeler, which according to Deadline, will also see the return of Finn Little’s Carter.
