AUGUSTA, Ga. ()– It’s a unique program in the CSRA that focuses on adults with special needs and disabilities.
Tri-Development Center of Aiken County serves people with autism, head and spinal cord injuries, and intellectual disabilities.
Funding is always important– and a big event will help raise money to keep those vital programs going. Vegas Night Aiken is coming up Friday, August 15th — and it will be an evening filled with fun, food, and entertainment.
The night will feature Vegas style games, great food from local restaurants, entertainment, and a silent auction. It starts at 6:30PM at the Lessie B. Price Center on Edgefield Avenue NW.
Terrence Jackson is the Director of Safety Prevention & Volunteers.

“The funding is important to allow us to provide these services, and make sure we are able to care for our people in the best way possible. And other aspects, as far as my safety program that I operate, we do a lot of things in the community– we’re able to provide life jackets in car seats and bicycle helmets to the community to prevent disabilities from occurring. So again, some of the funds from this event go to some of the resources and programs that we promote the community. This prevent disabilities from occurring.”
Tickets are $75 and you can get them now at showpass.com
