Jeffrey Epstein files: Accuser Alicia Arden speaks out, wants to see Ghislaine Maxwell stay behind bars

LOS ANGELES — Pressure is growing for the government to release a transcript of the Justice Department’s interview with Ghislaine Maxwell, as well as the Epstein files.

On Wednesday, an accuser of Jeffrey Epstein’s spoke out about it.

“While the political class takes sides in this battle. The victims of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell are often ignored,” said attorney Gloria Allred.

Actress Alicia Arden, an alleged victim of Jeffrey Epstein, answered questions in high-profile attorney Allred’s office on Wednesday.

“I believe, yes, the files should be released. I’m tired of the government saying that they want to release them, so please just do it,” Arden said.

The Bay Watch actress is the first person to have documented proof that she filed a police report against Epstein in 1997 for sexual battery, according to Allred.

As detailed in that report, Arden met Epstein at the Shutters Hotel in Santa Monica, thinking it was a modeling interview for Victoria’s Secret.

According to the same report, Epstein told her to undress, then pulled up her blouse and skirt, groped her buttocks, and said, “Let me manhandle you for a second.”

The press conference comes on the heels of two days of interviews conducted by the Department of Justice with Epstein’s co-conspirator, Maxwell. The release of that nine-hour transcript is now being debated by the Trump administration.

“I’m not sure if we can even believe her, but I mean, I would like to know what the U.S. Deputy Attorney General, Todd Blanche, asked her, and what she actually said to him,” Arden said.

In that interview, Maxwell told DOJ investigators that President Donald Trump never did anything concerning around her, according to ABC News.

Trump has told the press he has the power to pardon Maxwell if he chooses to.

“Should Ms. Maxwell be pardoned? No. Ghislaine Maxwell should not be pardoned. She was convicted of sex trafficking of children,” Arden said.

Maxwell is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence, but was transferred last week from federal prison to a minimum-security women’s camp in Texas.
