A teenager will front court today after allegedly stealing a BMW and fleeing from police in a pursuit across western Sydney, before crashing into a medical centre overnight.

Police spotted a BMW SUV at 11.35pm on the Northern Road in Cranebrook, after it was reportedly stolen from a hotel in Cambridge Park earlier that night.

The 16-year-old allegedly failed to stop for police, sparking a pursuit.

Officers called off the pursuit due to safety concerns, however, they continued to monitor the car.

Just after midnight, the BMW crashed into a Mitsubishi SUV with a female driver inside on the Great Western Highway in St Marys.

The collision sent the BMW into the front of a medical centre nearby.

The woman in the Mitsubishi was taken to hospital as a precaution and has since been released.
