With plans set to marry John Janssen this fall, The Real Housewives of Orange County alum provided fans with another glimpse into their integrated family life. The future couple traveled to Los Angeles County on Saturday, enjoying a lively day of water activities with their kids from previous relationships.
“Family funday…. jetskis to Catalina,” Alexis captioned an August 9 Instagram video. “I guess all 6 kids are as crazy as mom/stepmom.”
The outing involved Alexis’ 17-year-old twins, Miles and Mackenna, as well as her 19-year-old son, James, all from her former marriage to Jim Bellino. Meanwhile, John brought along his three adult children—a son and two daughters—from a prior marriage.

Alexis shared additional photos and videos from the family adventure, which featured an extensive 11-hour jet ski journey from Long Beach to Catalina Island. On August 10, she reflected on the memorable day through an Instagram carousel, showcasing heartwarming images of her and John, stunning ocean scenery, and remarkable footage of a dolphin pod.

“[Forty-six] miles on a [Sea-Doo] across the ocean!!!!! Follow our journey!!! It’s a must do!!!!” she wrote in the post. “All kiddos and John and I went from Long Beach to Catalina and back!!! Glass ocean for a moment, but it didn’t last long and oh my golly… we all hurt today. Feels like we were run over by a truck. But totally worth it all!!!!
“Jet ski’s next to dolphins for 10 minutes!!!!! But Blooper video is the best,” Alexis continued. “[Twelve] of us went on this 11 hour excursion.. only 5 of us dared to take the last photo…. no blame. It was exhausting. Yet WORTH IT ALL!!!!!! And thank Jesus no injuries, just a lot of AA…Aches and Advil!!!”
Alexis Bellino shares details on her and John Janssen’s wedding plans
Alexis and John are set to marry in October, about 14 months after they got engaged. The former Housewife teased her wedding plans during a September 2024 sitdown with BravoTV.com, saying the ceremony would be intimate and unconventional.

“We’re not doing a typical wedding. We’re changing it. We have a couple of creative ideas,” she revealed. “I’m not walking down an aisle, but my son James did ask to give me [away] to John, so we’re gonna figure that out since I don’t want to walk down an aisle.”

Alexis said she and John wanted to cap the guest list at 100 family members and close friends. RHOC’s Tamra Judge said she will attend the wedding and confirmed that her castmate Heather Dubrow also received an invitation.
Shortly after her “family funday,” Alexis revealed that she and John also invited their personal chef, Mac Noodlez, to the wedding. Alexis reshared an Instagram video of Mac — who has made numerous appearances on RHOC — showing off the gorgeous wedding invite.
“I have just received an invitation to the Alexis Bellino and John Janssen wedding,” he said while holding the monogrammed card. “I am super stoked, super honored that they would want me to be present, in attendance, at this wedding. So, I cannot wait. It’s in October. I think I’m gonna get a nice green tux… This is super awesome. This wedding is gonna be super beautiful.”
