Maluma is looking out for his youngest fans.
The Colombian superstar stopped his concert in Mexico City over the weekend to call out a mother who brought her baby without providing the child any ear protection.
The 31-year-old singer asked how old the baby was before scolding the concert-goer in a video of the moment circulating online.
“Do you think it’s a good idea to bring a one-year-old baby to a concert where the decibels are this f–king high?” he asked. “That baby doesn’t even know what it’s doing here.”
“Next time, protect their ears or something,” he continued. “For real. It’s heavy. It’s your responsibility.”
Maluma, who has a 1-year-old daughter, Paris, also said he would never do that as a father.
“You’re waving them around like they’re a toy,” he said. “That baby doesn’t want to be there, for real. I’m telling you with all love and respect, now that I’m a father… would never bring them to a concert. For the next time, be a bit more aware.”
The crowd cheered as Maluma spoke, appearing to agree with him.
Maluma is currently on his +Pretty +Dirty World Tour, which wraps up in Rosarito, Mexico, Sunday.
The hitmaker and his girlfriend, Susana Gómez, welcomed their daughter in March 2024.
“On March 9th at 8:23 A.M. the love of our lives Paris Londoño Gomez was born,” he shared on Instagram at the time.
He also shared a sweet message to Gomez at the time, writing, “Thank you for fulfilling my biggest dream of being a Father.”
