Actress Cheryl Hines has questioned her in-law Caroline Kennedy’s parenting skills over her son’s erratic online behavior.
Hines, who is married to Caroline’s first cousin Robert F. Kennedy Jr, expressed that she was too intimidated to comment on Jack Schlossberg’s behavior in a recent interview with the Wall Street Journal.
‘His behavior—I hesitate to say anything because any comment I make might just fuel his excitement about being the topic of discussion.’ Hines said, ‘I can’t figure out what’s happening with him.’
Schlossberg is the 32-year-old son of Caroline and her husband Edwin Schlossberg. Hines’ spouse, RFK Jr, is the son of Robert ‘Bobby’ Kennedy, the brother of President John F. Kennedy.
In recent months, Schlossberg has concerned onlookers with bizarre online behavior that included demanding conservative journalist Megyn Kelly show him her privates.
Schlossberg also mocked the private pain of his late grandmother Jaqueline Kennedy Onassis and regularly takes to social media, where he is attempting to build a name for himself.
Just last week, Schlossberg goaded Hines, best known for her role in TV show Curb Your Enthusiasm, and her husband RFK Jr over a post made by RFK Jr wishing his wife a happy anniversary.
Schlossberg replied: ‘What does she let you do on your birthday?’ with no further context provided.
Hines’ husband has long been seen as the ‘black sheep’ of the Kennedy political dynasty thanks to his increasingly conservative views and suspicion of vaccines.
But now Schlossberg appears to have joined him on the family’s list of shame. Caroline Kennedy has yet to make any public comment on her son’s behavior.

Kennedy heir Jack Schlossberg has been slammed by his famous family member as self-obsessed and fame hungry

Cheryl Hines, who is married to Schlossberg’s relative – Robert F. Kennedy JR , made the savage accusations to the Wall Street Journal

Hines openly discussed the behavior of Schlossberg, 32 – who is the only grandson of John F. Kennedy through his mother Caroline Kennedy (pictured with her son)
In late July, Schlossberg posted a picture of Hines with text saying ‘CONGRATS !!!!’ and ‘Most measles cases in 33 years’.
This is referencing RFK Jr.’s controversial opposition to many common vaccines – which Schlossberg has publicly shamed him for on multiple occasions.
Back when RFK Jr. was running for president, Schlossberg called his candidacy an ’embarrassment’ and questioned why anyone would think he should win the election.
RFK Jr later threw his support behind Donald Trump and was rewarded the prestige post of US Health Secretary after Trump’s second inauguration in January.
Schlossberg’s behavior has continuously raised eyebrows.
After briefly serving as Vogue’s political correspondent, the Kennedy heir seemingly began to focus more on producing content for his own social media.
The 32-year-old baffled his followers in July when he went on an Instagram rant about mangoes.
After discovering that there are more than 1,000 types of mangoes, he shared the fun fact with his 696,000 followers, saying ‘I had no idea!’
He then captioned the post: ‘Mango party mango crazy.’
Schlossberg became especially heated online about Ryan Murphy’s most recent project ‘American Love Story’, which focuses on the romance of John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy.
The Kennedy heir branded the show ‘grotesque’ and called upon Murphy to donate money to the JFK Library Foundation instead of taking advantage and profiting off the couple’s tragic love story.

Schlossberg’s mother is Caroline Kennedy – the only daughter of Jackie and JFK – who was five years old when her father was assassinated in 1963
Murphy expressed surprise over Schlossberg’s comments, saying ‘I thought it was an odd choice to be mad about your relative that you don’t really remember.’
Schlossberg clapped back in an Instagram post, in which he shared heartfelt memories of his Uncle.
‘Hey @ryanmurphyproductions: My earliest memories are of John calling me Jackolatern and “the nudist,” picking me up from school, his Pontiac convertible. I remember being the ring bearer at his wedding and the day he died. I remember Wyclef singing at his funeral.’
