The suspected cause of death has reportedly been revealed in connection with fashion influencer and designer, Martha Nolan-O’Slatarra.

Nolan-O’Slatarra, 33, possibly died from a suspected accidental drug overdose, according to The New York Post. Although an official autopsy is pending, the information comes from sources reportedly close to the case.

As CrimeOnline previously reported, according to a Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office press release, police arrived at the 16-acre Montauk Yacht Club at midnight Tuesday, on Star Island Road, after receiving a report of an “unconscious” woman.

Despite attempts by “good Samaritans” to revive her using CPR, their efforts were not successful.

First responders pronounced Nolan-O’Slatarra deceased at the scene.

FOX News Digital reports that East Hampton Town police responded to a 911 call placed by early Tuesday morning, by a man who said he found the victim unresponsive on one of the docked boats.

A man who owns two boats docked at the yacht club began screaming for help while throwing items, including a sunscreen tube, at other boats, according to what other people aboard other vessels reportedly said.

Sources on the other boats told 27East that the screaming man was seen naked while yelling,”Do something, do something.”

At around 4 a.m., Suffolk County Homicide Squad detectives took over the case, although a cause of death has not been determined and an initial autopsy was inconclusive.

A post-mortem examination by the Suffolk County Medical Examiner’s Office found no signs of violence.

According to DailyMail, she had a business meeting with an insurance mogul identified as Christopher Durnan, 60, on the night she passed away. He’s also reportedly the owner of the boat she was found on.

Nolan-O’Slatarra told her boyfriend about the meeting, with plans to arrive home by 1 a.m. Her boyfriend was not on the boat when the incident occurred.

Former NYPD sergeant and host of “Gold Shields” podcast, Dan Murphy, told Nancy Grace that although there is no indication yet whether drugs were involved, illicit activities are sometimes swept under the rug in wealthy areas in New York.

“This is an area where you’re going to see people who are going to turn a blind eye to things and just either not want to believe it,”he said.

“It’s not too different from the Upper East Side of Manhattan. People think the Upper East Side of Manhattan is just a playground for the rich. In many ways, it can be, but there’s also dirtiness behind the covers.”

Police have not specified whether Nolan-O’Slatarra, who was the East x East clothing brand founder and the director of operations for K IV Capital Management, has any known history of drug use.

“She’s being made out to be a party girl. I don’t think that’s true, and I’ll tell you why,” Grace added.

“Everything I have been able to find out about her is that she was raised in a very small town, very small town. Her dream was to quote, ‘make it in New York.’ And she has worked night and day, clawed tooth and nail to create her own business.”

Residents in the area described Nolan-O’Slatarra as kind and welcoming.

“She was well known in the community. She was very friendly. Always smiling,” a resident told The New York Post, “There’s going to be a lot of conversation out of this.”

Police have not named a suspect in the case.
