We’ve been eating well this summer. There are new episodes of King of the Hill and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia on Hulu, the third season of Sullivan’s Crossing recently premiered on Netflix, and I’ve been having a blast with Paramount+’s Dexter: Resurrection. But you know what I’ve been missing? Network TV!

Unfortunately, new seasons of ABC’s popular Tuesday night twosome of The Rookie and Will Trent won’t premiere until early 2026, but, thankfully, the network’s freshman hit High Potential will return with new episodes in the fall!

Is High Potential On Tonight (August 12)?

Yes… but it’s a night of reruns on ABC. The night begins at 8:00 p.m. ET with High Potential (Season 1, Episode 8: “Obsessed”), followed by back-to-back repeats of Will Trent (Season 3, Episode 12: “You’re the Worst Person in the World” and Season 3, Episode 13: “One of Us Now”).

Has High Potential Been Renewed For Season 2?

You bet! Earlier this year, ABC renewed High Potential for a second season. The first season had 13 installments, but Kaitlin Olson previously revealed that Season 2 will consist of more episodes.

When Does High Potential Season 2 Premiere on ABC?

The new season begins Tuesday, September 16 at 10:00 p.m. ET on ABC. New episodes will be available for next-day streaming on Hulu and Disney+.
