Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba fans just got an unexpected update for the next feature film, and the timing couldn’t be better.

Crunchyroll has officially announced that fans in the United States will get the chance to see the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle feature film in theaters a full three days early. The only catch is that hopeful audience-goers will have to be Crunchyroll Mega and Ultimate Fan subscribers in order to get their early screening tickets. Otherwise, fans can wait until the film’s widespread North American release on Sept. 12 to catch it in theaters.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle marks the beginning of the end for the Demon Slayer anime. The final chapters of the series are set to play out across a trilogy of animated films adapting the “Infinity Castle” arc from the original manga. In May, Crunchyroll president Rahul Purini explicitly stated that “The trilogy movies are the final arc of the story and, for fans, if they want to finish it, they have to watch it.” However, Purini also noted that “the production teams have not announced the exact release date” for the second and third entries in the trilogy.

Just days ago, the news broke that fan-favorite Hollywood star Channing Tatum had signed on for the voice cast of the English dub of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle. Tatum will be joined by voice stars Rebecca Wang, Zach Aguilar, Abby Trott, Bryce Papenbrook, Erika Harlacher, Aleks Le and Mighty Morphin Power Rangers icon Johnny Yong Bosch. Crunchyroll Executive VP of Global Commerce Mitchel Berger said of the casting, “We are excited to welcome Channing Tatum, who discovered his love of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and anime through watching the series with his daughter, along with Rebecca Wang as the English voices of Keizo and Koyuki.”

The Demon Slayer anime is based on creator Koyoharu Gotouge’s hit original manga Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, which recently made major waves by breaking past the 220 million units mark for the total number of copies in circulation. This is broken up across 164 million copies circulating in Japan, with another 56 million in circulation in other territories. Surprisingly, this still isn’t enough for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba to make it into the top five best-selling manga of all time — a list currently made up of One Piece, Doraemon, Golgo 13, Case Closed/Detective Conan and Dragon Ball. As of the time of writing, the Demon Slayer manga has another 30 million volumes to go before it catches up with the number six on the list, Naruto, which holds its place with just over 250 million volumes sold worldwide.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Train releases in theaters in North America on Sept. 12. Crunchyroll Mega and Ultimate Fan subscribers will be able to see the film in select theaters beginning Sept. 9.
