SAVANNAH, Ga. () — has acquired the body cam footage of the Southwest pilot that was arrested and charged with DUI in January 2025 at the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport.

The incident resulted in the pilot being booked into the Chatham County jail and the flight being delayed for five hours on Jan. 15.

A complaint was made against Allsop during crew member check-in, according to an incident report said. When the airport police officer arrived, Allsop was seated in the cockpit performing pre-flight checks for a flight from Savannah to Chicago.

Allsop was removed from the aircraft at the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport and taken to the Chatham County jail. He was also removed from duty a Southwest representative told in January.

He was charged with driving under the influence, according to jail records, and released on a $3,500 bond.
