Wendy Williams is out on the town following new updates on her dementia and aphasia diagnoses.
Page Six obtained exclusive photos and video of the former talk show host going out to dinner with friends at New York hotspot Tucci’s Saturday night.
The beloved media personality, 61, walked out of an SUV arm-in-arm with restaurateur Max Tucci, wearing a beige dress shirt, snakeskin belt and straw handbag. She wore her hair down and accessorized with a bright pink lip and a “W” necklace.
Williams told Page Six exclusively outside of Tucci’s Saturday that her attorneys are “highly upset” with reports surrounding her health.
Earlier this week, People reported that Williams’ recent test results showed she indeed has frontotemporal dementia and aphasia, citing legal documents. The host previously denied she had mental health issues.
Despite her recent cognitive test results, Williams was still in high spirits on Saturday.
When asked if she had any words for her conservator, the former radio DJ told us, “I want to say hi to my attorneys, Allan Diamond and Joe Tacopina.”
She then emphatically said, “And I will get out of guardianship.“
An insider also tells us exclusively that Williams has no confirmation that the test results are accurate.
Williams’ cognitive capacity has become a focal point amid her ongoing legal battles.
In 2022, a New York judge placed the “Masked Singer” alum under a guardianship after Wells Fargo put a freeze on her bank accounts.
The bank reported at the time that there had been suspicious activity and sent a letter to court recommending the star be protected from “undue influence and financial exploitation.”
Williams has repeatedly denied a need for the legal agreement and has said she doesn’t like her guardian, Sabrina Morrissey. She has also said that the assisted living facility in which she is being forced to live in feels like a “prison.”
Williams has gained the support of many fans who have pushed for her freedom online and hit the streets holding protest signs.
Williams has also received public support from her family, including her ex-husband, Kevin Hunter, whom she divorced in 2020 after he cheated on her.
The host’s former spouse, 52, filed a whopping $250 million lawsuit against Morrissey in June in an attempt to end the guardianship.
A source previously told us Hunter stepped in to file the suit on behalf of his and Williams’ son, Kevin Hunter, Jr., since the 24-year-old allegedly felt “threatened” by the New York state judge overseeing his mother’s case.
