Richmond Hill football to debut new stadium Friday

SAVANNAH, Ga. () — Richmond Hill Football will be debuting its brand-new state-of-the-art football stadium in its first game of the season Friday.

The venue has a capacity of over 10,000 fans and includes: suites, a new weight room and a kids play area.

The Wildcats are looking to build off a 7-3 finish last season, its best since the 2020-21 season.

“It’s something that they can be proud of,” said Head Coach Matt LeZotte about the new facility. “We had fantastic production on the field, now we have facilities to match that production.”

The team says they’re ready to open the new stadiums doors against Glynn Academy Friday at 7:30 p.m.

“It’s pretty important because it’s the first game in the new stadium,” said Wildcat defensive lineman Tre Brown.
