() Bryan Kohberger was vocally in favor of capital punishment before he murdered four University of Idaho students in 2022, according to new documents from the Idaho State Police.

Kohberger, a former criminology student at Washington State University, avoided the death penalty by accepting a plea deal and admitting to the murders of Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle and Ethan Chapin.

This latest insight into Kohberger’s mindset came from police interviews with WSU faculty members. As reported by , one of Kohberger’s professors worried about his predatory tendencies and issued a warning before the murders.

Kohberger caused classmate to cry

Police documents showed Kohberger debated with a female classmate over the death penalty and was the sole person in his class to speak up in favor.

Kohberger got angry to the point where he told the woman to imagine how she would feel if her 12-year-old daughter were raped and murdered.

She later told police that she cried over the incident. Kohberger also suggested that the families of the victims should determine whether someone is sentenced to death.

Kohberger decided to take a plea deal to avoid just such a sentence.

Bryan Kohberger loves watching himself

One of Kohberger’s previous cellmates said he liked watching TV, and particularly stories about himself.

The convicted murderer would say things like, “Wow, I’m on every channel,” and the only time he would change the channel is that is when topics came up about his family.

According to the cellmates, Kohberger said his favorite movie was “American Psycho,” starring Christian Bale, in which the main character Patrick Bateman refers to his parents as “mother” and “father,” as Kohberger did.

Kohberger has been residing in Idaho’s Maximum Security Institution for three weeks.

Placed in “J Block” for his own protection, â€œBanfield” has learned Kohberger’s fellow hardcore offenders are going out of their way, as far as they can, to make the notorious newcomer miserable.

His fellow inmates have been taking turns shouting through the air ducts, all day and all night, to keep Kohberger from sleeping at night or even hearing himself think during the day.
