There is no mistaking it, Allyshia Gupta and Kat Izzo are not friends, and they won’t ever be friends, despite both being members of Bachelor Nation. Still, Gupta knows enough about Izzo to air out her dirty laundry, and she’s doing just that. During a recent podcast appearance, Gupta, who was voted off of Bachelor in Paradise during the Aug. 17 episode, revealed exactly where Kat Izzo and Sean McLaughlin stood before flying to Costa Rica for the show. She insists that, despite Izzo denying being pals with Sean, they were actually very good friends before the show. They even spent holidays together.

Allyshia Gupta recently appeared on The Viall Files after being booted from Bachelor in Paradise, and she is holding nothing back. While the pageant queen seemed to get along with most of the ladies in the house, she did not get along with Kat Izzo, and that has not changed. While Gupta and Izzo got off on the wrong foot after both being interested in Dale Moss, Gupta’s disdain for her fellow Bachelor Nation alum runs much deeper than that.

During her podcast appearance, Gupta said Izzo is going to do what he does best: “lie, deny, and cry.” She pointed to Izzo’s behavior toward Sean McLuaghlin as proof.  Despite what Izzo said, Gupta claims that McLaughlin and Izzo were such good friends that they had previously spent holidays together, and that Izzo’s mother was in contact with McLaughlin.

Gupta insisted that McLaughlin spent weeks defending Izzo, whether the cameras were rolling or not. She claims she even warned McLaughlin. Gupta was the one who let McLaughlin know Izzo was acting as if they had never been friends. The Tampa resident approached his former friend about the situation, but was brutally rebuffed. Izzo was filmed shaking her head and making faces at McLaughlin. She later went back and told the group that McLaughlin had “cursed her out,” which very much didn’t happen.

Gupta did not update fans on where McLaughlin and Izzo stand today. While Izzo and McLaughlin still follow each other on Instagram, they don’t appear to be interacting with each other.

Allyshia Gupta made it clear that she has no desire to buddy up with Kat Izzo. She was a bit more vague when it came to her relationship with Sean McLuahglin. When she and McLaughlin walked out of the resort in an unexpected “you can’t fire me, I quit!” moment, they looked very much together. Gupta has made it clear they are very much in contact and she values the “relationship” they built. Still, she’s steering clear of labeling the situation.

Fans of the series suspect that the duo aren’t romantically linked, and likely never really were, considering Gupta’s recent Instagram activity. She’s focused almost entirely on posting with the ladies of Bachelor Nation, and hasn’t mentioned a man. Her real-world uploads don’t feature him either, despite both of them living in the same city. In a previous interview, she claimed they were on “great terms” but didn’t call him her boyfriend.
