Florida Blue Foundation seeking nonprofits for continued research grant

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Florida Blue Foundation is now accepting grant applications from statewide nonprofits focused on maternal health improvements.

Building on investments made to other nonprofits earlier in 2025, this marks the second round of grants the foundation hopes to provide, devoting about $3 million to the program.

The foundation aims to provide funding to organizations that are working to find solutions to the following criteria:

“We are dedicated to ensuring that every mother and baby in Florida receives quality care throughout each stage of pregnancy and beyond,” said Susan Towler, executive director of the Florida Blue Foundation. “By supporting nonprofits that share this commitment, we aim to amplify their impact and help them reach more families in need, ultimately creating a healthier future for all Floridians.”
