From Paris to Rome, we’ll follow Emily wherever she goes…

Netflix treated fans to a first look at Emily in Paris Season 5, which according to the streamer, finds Lily Collins‘ ambitious Emily Cooper as the head of Agence Grateau Rome, where she “faces professional and romantic challenges as she adapts to life in a new city.”

“But just as everything falls into place, a work idea backfires, and the fallout cascades into heartbreak and career setbacks,” the Season 5 synopsis continues. “Seeking stability, Emily leans into her French lifestyle, until a big secret threatens one of her closest relationships. Tackling conflict with honesty, Emily emerges with deeper connections, renewed clarity, and a readiness to embrace new possibilities.”

Alongside Collins, Season 5 sees the return of Ashley Park, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Lucas Bravo, Samuel Arnold, Bruno Gouery, William Abadie, Lucien Laviscount, Paul Forman, and Arnaud Binard, as well as Eugenio Franceschini and Thalia Besson, who were introduced in Season 4. Plus, Minnie Driver, Bryan Greenberg, and Michèle Laroque join the cast this season.

According to Variety, who broke the news of Driver’s casting in May, Driver will play Princess Jane, “a friend of Sylvie’s (Leroy-Beaulieu) who married into a royal family.” Meanwhile Greenberg will play Jake, an American residing in Paris, and Laroque will play Yvette, an old friend of Sylvie’s, per Deadline.
