A source told the Daily Mail that DNA evidence shows Caron’s baby daughter was fathered by the boy she’s accused of abusing, who is now a 20 year-old student
Caron’s attorney John W. Tumelty told the Daily Mail that his client ‘is doing well’ and that she has ‘no contact’ with her alleged victim, as stipulated by a court order.
If convicted of child sexual assault, Caron faces a minimum of 10 years behind bars – with the maximum term behind prison stretching to 40 years.
After Wednesday’s hearing, Caron fled the court and tried to shield her face from a waiting photographer using a black windbreaker.
She declined to answer questions about whether she has any remorse or regrets.
She was accompanied to court by her brother and her father, who shouted ‘Get away from my car!’ when asked to comment on the case.
Moments later, Caron made it into the car, which screeched out of the court’s parking lot.
Earlier this year, the boy Caron is accused of raping when he was 13 and she was 28, gave the Daily Mail an extraordinary exclusive interview where he insisted that he made a pass at her first.
Now 20 years-old and at college, the boy claimed that he is no victim, that he still loves Caron and that he wants to start a family with her when he can.

‘They need to drop all charges. I wasn’t groomed or raped or manipulated by her. She never initiated anything,’ he said.
‘I started everything. If it was up to me she wouldn’t have been in jail. It’s been six or seven years. I’m 19 about to be 20.’
The teen rejected any suggestion the alleged abuse happened when he was 11, calling the allegations ‘crazy’.
But he was still three years under the age of consent in New Jersey when Caron sexually abused him, prosecutors say.
Caron met the boy after teaching his older sister.
The boy’s parents were impressed by how their daughter was thriving under Caron’s tutelage and asked for advice on how to get the best education for their son.
Caron befriended the boy’s family, who were so trusting they’d let her stay in their house overnight.

In December 2024, the boy’s father saw a photo of Caron’s daughter – the child believed to be his granddaughter – and was shocked at the girl’s resemblance to his son.
He contacted police, who arrested Caron in January.
The boy, now a promising young star athlete, says he is upset at his father for going to police and claims to be estranged from his family.
He said: ‘All of this started with a Facebook post from my father. I didn’t want her violated like that.’
‘This stuff is so deep. Like the world has no idea what she has done for my family.’
‘I love her with all my heart. She was there for me and my family.’
Caron is due back in court next month.
