At least one Love Is Blind UK season 2 romance was left on the cutting room floor.

While James Clark and Amy Jane were not prominently featured on the Netflix series, they are still happily together.

“A little snippet of the past year,” James, 36, and Amy, 33, captioned a joint Instagram video on Thursday, August 21, featuring footage from their whirlwind romance outside the pods.

In one moment of the clip, James sweetly kissed Amy’s forehead as they walked hand in hand down a street. Elsewhere in the footage, the pair documented various travel adventures, intimate date nights at home and even riding the London Underground together.

Their fellow members of the Love Is Blind “Pod Squad” expressed their excitement in the comments section.

“The cutest,” Bardha Krasniqi, who got engaged to Jed Chouman onscreen, wrote.

Yolanda Eguavoen, for her part, called the pair “adorable,” while Katisha Atkinson added that James and Amy were “ridiculously cute.”

James and Amy formed an instantaneous connection inside the Love Is Blind UK pods.

“When I’d hear his voice, my anxiety would just disappear,” Amy recalled to Tudum in an interview published on Thursday.

James, for his part, also felt a pull to Amy from the get-go.

“It was our third or fourth date, and as soon as I walked out, I was like, ‘This is why I’m here. She’s The One,’” James said. “And then it all went wrong.”

Despite a strong connection, James and Amy also formed other meaningful bonds in the pods that meant they were scheduled to see each other less and less. They were involved with Holly Kingdon and Ross McCarthy, respectively.

“We just got into situations where it was safe,” James recalled. “In hindsight, I should’ve laid it on a bit thicker with Amy, but I didn’t want to propose and then have her say no.”

While James also didn’t propose to 30-year-old Holly, Amy went on to accept a proposal from 30-year-old Ross. Their engagement ended shortly after leaving the pods, leading Amy to reach out to James via Instagram DM.

“We were both very much like, ‘How is it possible to miss somebody you’ve never met?’” Amy said, noting she arranged to meet James at the airport after her flight from Spain landed in England. “It was pretty epic.”

James subsequently drove Amy back to her home in Wales.

“From that day, I don’t think we’ve had a day apart,” James, who shares two children from a past relationship, added. “We’ve taken each week as it comes, and it’s been great. It’s just been easy.”

James further revealed that he introduced Amy to his kids a few months later, before moving in together in Malta.
