In March Brown opened up about starting a family with Bongiovi and revealed that he already knew ‘how important’ it is to her.

The pair married in May 2024 and the couple had discussed having children and their plans on having a big family.

While speaking on the Smartless podcast, which is co-hosted by Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett, the actress mentioned that even though she realizes she is ‘really young,’ she eagerly anticipates becoming a mother.

‘My mom actually had her first child at 21, and my dad was 19. And you know, it’s been my thing since before I met Jake,’ she explained.

‘Ever since I was little, I told my mom about my love for baby dolls. I aspired to be a mom like she was to me. Additionally, my nan, my grandmother, played a significant role in my life.’

‘And so, yeah, I mean, Jake knows how important it is to me and, of course, I want to focus on really establishing myself as an actor and as a producer, but I also find it’s so important to start a family for me personally,’ Millie continued.

‘It’s a huge thing. Jake was like, we cannot do that until we get married. So that was his thing.’

Brown then added: ‘And my thing was, I really want a family. I really want a big family.

‘I’m one of four. He’s one of four. So, it is definitely in our future, but, for me, I don’t see having your own child, you know, as really any different as in adopting.’

She went on to say: ‘My home is full of love for anyone and anything, and so that is what we kind of stand by, Jake and I, is our energy in the house is the door is always open, and we want everyone to feel really comfortable.’

Her comments come just a few weeks after she opened up to Vanity Fair in February about her relationship with Bongiovi and how they’re ‘pretty united’ on major topics.

‘We talked about our political views, what kind of family we want to build, the kind of home we want to live in, the kind of relationship we’re looking for, the kind of careers we want,’ she told the publication.

‘It’s such an important decision, and we wanted to make sure we were making the right one. I knew I was. It always felt right with him.’

Brown and Bongiovi, whose father is musician Jon Bon Jovi, first started dating in 2021 and announced their engagement in April 2023.

The couple tied the knot in May 2024 in a lavish ceremony in Italy where they said ‘I do’ at Villa Cetinale in Tuscany.
