“Isaiah K. John is about to become a dad again.

The Snowfall star and his wife, Hasha, are expecting their second child together.

Isaiah took to Instagram last week to share the news, posting photos of John, his pregnant wife, and their son with the simple caption, “Legacy,”

The pair welcomed their first child, a son, in September 2022. Ahead of his birth, John penned a touching message to his unborn baby.

“My beautiful son. I thank our Heavenly Father for you every day. You are a blessing,” he wrote. “That’s why your beautiful mother gave you such a powerful name. She knew you were going to be a great man of God.”

He went on to call his unborn child “a chosen, anointed leader”

John went on to call his child “a chosen, anointed leader,” promising to raise him as a “well-rounded man that loves. A man that leads. A man that always looks to Our Heavenly Father for answers. I am looking forward to the day we meet in person.”

The actor added, “I know you can feel my presence while in your mother’s womb so I pray when I hold you it feels like home.”

Isaiah John, 29, rose to fame as Leon Simmons on FX’s hit drama Snowfall, which wrapped in 2023 after six acclaimed seasons. But fans haven’t seen the last of him. FX recently ordered a spinoff pilot with John and co-star Gail Bean reprising their roles as Leon and Wanda Bell-Simmons.

In the original series, the two characters married in the final season amid Wanda’s recovery from addiction. The pilot will be written and produced by Malcolm Spellman (Captain America: Brave New World, Bel-Air), with original Snowfall producers Dave Andron, Thomas Schlamme, Julie DeJoie, Michael London, and Trevor Engelson all returning as executive producers.
