Gavin Newsom is still allegedly the Governor of California.
However, he is spending all his time on social media and on his podcast, trying to make himself a national figure by “fighting” President Donald Trump. He’s embarrassed himself in the process. Plus, Newsom’s tactics are so bad that he’s even attacking businesses now – seemingly the last thing you would want to do if you care about attracting businesses to your state.
Recently, Marcus Lemonis, the executive chairman of Bed Bath & Beyond, said they had no plans to operate in California, expressing how hard it is to operate there.
But as my colleague Sister Toldjah explained, Newsom’s response to Lemonis was imbecilic, “The company that already went bankrupt and closed every store across the country two years ago? Ok.”
Lemonis then leveled him, saying Newsom should want companies to invest in his state, but instead, he rejected it.
