Toby Littlewood, 29, is a business development executive, baker and a contestant on The Great British Bake Off (GBBO) 2025. He takes a stripped-back, healthy approach to baking, and tends to lean more towards classic recipes and flavours as he believes they are classics for a reason! But it’s bread that is his real passion, baking something different every day.
Working for a fitness start-up, he is often out and about at events and meeting potential clients. He has a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and his training partner loves refuelling after a gruelling session on the mats with his strawberry cheesecake.
Toby is a country boy at heart and grew up in the seaside town of Sidmouth with his three siblings. He is currently three years in to his “six month” home DIY renovation project.

Business development executive Toby Littlewood is a contestant on Series 16 of The Great British Bake Off on Channel 4. The bakers of GBBO 2025 will be competing against each other in the famous baking tent, under the watchful eyes of judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith, alongside hosts Alison Hammond and Noel Fielding.
Speaking about filming the season, he said seeing the iconic tent for the first time “was so daunting, it felt like some sort of strange fever dream”.
He added: “I definitely didn’t feel like I was in my element, but I was so desperate to get stuck in and start baking. I can remember looking around the tent, trying to read the other bakers to see if they could have been feeling as nervous as me. I think my most prominent feeling was what I can only describe as nervous excitement.”
