AT least 21 school children have been injured in a horror crash in Pittsburgh.
The bus was carrying the Aliquippa Jr. High School Football Team when it came off the road in Economy, Boro, Beaver County on Saturday morning.
Out of the 25 children on board, 21 of the students were injured and have been taken to UPMC Children’s Hospital, CBS News reported.
The bus driver has also been hospitalized.
None of their conditions are known at this time.
“The team has left the scene of the earlier bus accident,” the football team wrote on Facebook just after 11 am local time.
“Each player is being evaluated.
“Please take a moment to send a thought or prayer for each player or coach that was traveling this morning.”
One woman who said her step-son was on board commented below the post saying the crash was “pretty bad” but that he is okay.
A total of 28 people are believed to have been on board at the time.
The team had celebrated the end of summer camp on Thursday.
