Jessika Biography – Jessika Wiki
Jessika, 32, is a gymnastic, roller-skating Drag King and service designer from London. The Cornwall native is a contestant on The Great British Bake Off (GBBO) 2025. Her signature bakes fuse daring flavours like salted mango caramel and cardamom, or Jerusalem artichoke caramel with a dark chocolate mousse.
Raised in Cornwall, Jessika has fond memories of eating corner-shop cakes with her sister after dance classes, which solidified her sweet tooth. Gifting bakes is her love language, and she’ll spend months gathering information about her friends tastes before surprising them with the perfect birthday entremet.
An ambitious baker, she’s all about pushing boundaries, in the kitchen and beyond. When she’s not baking, Jessika’s on skates, cycling, or performing as her drag king persona.

Drag king Jessika will appear on series 16 of The Great British Bake Off. Twelve bakers will be competing against each other in the famous baking tent, under the watchful eyes of judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith, alongside hosts Alison Hammond and Noel Fielding.
Jessika revealed she was alone at her friend’s house when she got the call to be in the show. She said she reacted to the Channel 4 producers’ calling her with “a little scream, then a bigger scream, and then a goofy dance”. “I was alone at my friend’s house when I got the call, so it was just me on my own, flapping about!”
The 32-year-old added: “Seeing the big white tent for the first time was so weird. I’ve watched the show for years, and entertained the idea that, potentially, maybe, one day, this girl could quite possibly bake up a storm for the judges.
“But it didn’t really hit me until I was standing at my workstation, apron on, looking around at the other bakers and thinking, ‘Welp, girl, you made it!’”

Jessika is queer. She paid tribute to the LGBTQIA+ community during Pride Month in 2024. She wrote on Instagram: “For my gays, strays, and theys! We’re here, we’re queer, and one day we’ll live and love without fear. 🌈 Happy pride!”
