An Ohio mother-to-be was gunned down by her baby”s father and two of his alleged pals just hours before she was scheduled to go into induced labor, according to police.

Kayvon Warren, 30, had allegedly asked India Kinamore, 26, to terminate the pregnancy before he enlisted Robert Ervin, 20, and Lamar Morris Suggs, 22, to help kill her on March 4, 2023, in Hamilton County, according to The Cincinnati Enquirer.

Prosecutors said in court Friday that the men were in a group chat together and allegedly teamed up that night to murder Kinamore and her unborn child before she could give birth later that day, the Enquirer reports. The Colerain Township Police Department announced their arrests in a press release Thursday.

Officers responded to 2369 Hiddenmeadows Drive at around 4:40 a.m. the day Kinamore was killed and found her suffering from a fatal gunshot wound. Her 6-year-old son stumbled upon the expectant mother and called his grandmother, saying: “My mommy has been shot,” according to family members.

Warren, Ervin and Suggs have each been charged with two counts of murder, according to court records. Warren and Ervin are being held on $600,000 bonds that were set during their Friday arraignment; Suggs has been locked up in an Ohio prison for unrelated charges and has not appeared in court for the Kinamore killing yet.

“My daughter can’t come back,” said Terri Kinamore, India’s mother, in an interview with the Enquirer after Warren and Ervin were granted bond. “I just don’t think it’s fair, at all,” she told the local newspaper.

Ervin’s lawyer, Robert Jones, told the court Friday that the young man “has no ties to this case” and “no ties to the deceased.” Prosecutors say digital evidence shows the three men allegedly planned and carried out the shooting together.

Warren and Ervin were still behind bars over the weekend. They will be required to wear ankle monitors if they post bond.
