California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) continued his recent campaign of mocking President Trump’s branding by starting a “PATRIOT SHOP” on Sunday.

“THE PATRIOT SHOP IS NOW OPEN!!!!” Newsom said in a Sunday post on the social platform X, highlighted by Mediaite.

“MANY PEOPLE ARE SAYING THIS IS THE GREATEST MERCHANDISE EVER MADE. PLEASE ENJOY, AMERICA!” the Golden State governor added in Trump’s all capital letters social media style, along with a link to the online store.

The store, also highlighted by Mediate, features items such as a “NEWSOM 2026” mug, a “DON”T POKE THE BEAR” yard sign and a  MAGA-like red baseball cap that reads “NEWSOM WAS RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING!” 

In a post later Sunday on X, Newsom said “WE HAVE NOW SOLD OVER $100K OF THE BEST PRODUCTS EVER MADE!!”

“IF YOU HATE THE PATRIOT SHOP, YOU HATE AMERICA! THANK YOU!” the governor added.

Newsom’s recent mocking of Trump’s branding also comes amid a redistricting battle heralded by the Golden State governor. 

California’s Democratic-controlled Legislature officially approved a plan last week to redraw the state’s congressional lines, setting up a special election in the fall that will allow Golden State residents to weigh in on mid-decade redistricting in response to a plan from Texas Republicans.
