Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s bombshell engagement news has fans speculating over the details of their forthcoming nuptials, including their potential bridal party.

The couple revealed that they were taking their romance to the next level with adorable photos of their garden proposal shared via Instagram on Aug. 26, 2025.

“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨,” the snaps were captioned.

Swift proudly flaunted her emerald-cut diamond with a gold setting.

An insider also exclusively told Page Six that she and Kelce had kept the news under wraps for “a couple of weeks.”

It’s assumed the duo’s close friends and family might have known about the proposal, including those who might be in the wedding party.

Swift has been close friends with Selena Gomez since they dated Joe Jonas and Nick Jonas, respectively, in the early 2000s.

“I was about 15, she was about 18,” the “Only Murders in the Building” star shared on the “Therapuss” podcast in August 2025.

The actress claimed that she and the Grammy winner bonded when they split with the Jonas Brothers members in 2008, saying that “the best things [they] got out of those relationships was each other.”

“At that age, [Swift and I] became best friends [and] bonded over the breakup,” Gomez explained. “Then, I don’t know, we just stuck around for all the ups and downs that came after … And here we are now 16 years later.”

The besties have been spotted throughout the years, enjoying dinners in New York City and celebrating each other’s milestones and accomplishments.

Gomez, meanwhile, announced via Instagram that she was engaged to her fiancé, Benny Blanco, in December 2024, and Swift jokingly commented that she would “be the flower girl.”

The two are reportedly set to tie the knot in Montecito, Calif., in September 2025, and Swift is expected to attend the star-studded ceremony with Kelce.

Patrick Bacon and Travis have been friends since the first grade.

During an interview with the Wall Street Journal in 2023, Bacon shared that Travis “loves to talk about the old days,” per Us Weekly.

He also divulged how Travis enjoys winding down after a football game or intense day by hanging out in his kitchen and chatting with his “core group” of friends.
